Androsela is made using grapes from 40-year-old Viura vines. These vines, which are native to the region, are harvested by hand in the vineyards of Sonsierra County, in the heart of the Rioja Alta region. The result is a wine with a subtle, attractive bouquet, with hints of fruit such as pear, apple, quince and apricot combined with floral notes. In the mouth it is silky, fresh and honeyed, with a good level of acidity to balance the sweetness and leave a lingering memory of fruitiness.
It is a highly versatile wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif or combined with all kinds of dishes, including foie gras, seafood, warm salads, oriental cuisine and even desserts. We recommend that you serve it very chilled, between 8 and 10ºC.
