Sonsierra Selección Blanco 2015 is made from 100% Viura grapes from old-growth vineyards. Some of the vines are more than 80 years old, which makes this wine rather unusual compared to other young Riojas. Seductive and aromatic in equal parts, it is a wine that is very easy to drink and can be paired with any type of starter, tapas, vegetable dishes, lighter legumes and fish.
Sonsierra Selección Rosado 2015 is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes that are also grown in old-growth vineyards. It is made using the traditional saignée method which involves de-stemming and crushing the grapes, macerating them for eight to 24 hours and then extracting the must that has collected at the bottom of the tank. The end result is a must of exceptional quality, with a superb concentration of aromas and the pigments that lend it its pink colour. This sweet, fruity wine is very versatile and can be paired with dishes of any kind, from salads and pasta through to white meat and vegetables.
Finally, our Sonsierra Selección Tinto is a young wine made from 100% Tempranillo grapes harvested from vines up to 20 years old. Its exceptional freshness and fruitiness, with characteristic varietal aromas such as liquorice, make it an ideal wine for accompanying casseroles, meat dishes, cheese and pasta.
