Spring, season of refreshing wines

 

Sonsierra Selección Blanco 2014 is a young white wine made from 100% Viura grapes which unveils aromas of white fruits (pear and banana) with a hint of flowers. Balanced in the mouth with just the right amount of acidity. Perfect to complement all sorts of starters and tapas, greens, pulses and fish.

The Sonsierra Selección Rosado 2014 is THE springtime wine at our winery and is a rosé made from 100% Tempranillo grapes. It is irresistible on the nose with its aromas of fresh fruits and sweets over a floral heart. In the mouth it shows itself to be fresh and fruity, with a finish that is pleasantly acidic. Open it to have with pasta dishes with mild sauces, rice dishes, all kinds of vegetable and white meats. And it is always perfect with a pizza!

The third in this trio of recommendations is the Sonsierra Selección Tinto 2014. We could not be without a young 100% Tempranillo red. Cherry in colour, edged in violet, on the nose it is filled with variety, the standout being the presence of red fruits and liquorice. Through the mouth it is structured and fresh, with a very fruity, pleasant finish.  Perfect company for rice dishes, red meats, pulses, freshwater fish, cold meats and mild cheeses.
